It is a chinese kreature. ^^
Japan kopied a lot of kreatures. z.B. Qilin, Dragon Hakutaku. But its okay. I love this kreature. <333

You misunderstood my comment: probably you've never seen my previous signature.

What I meant is that I'm curious to see some creature that YOU have invented. You know, copying from folklore in a way is just like copying from a famous tv show or book series: in any case you're drawing something that is not your own personal invention.

Anyway yes yes illustrating an obscure Sino-Nipponese demonologist spirit-beast is really just the same as drawing Inuyasha over and over again, you keep telling yourself that because you still have some kind of hate on for me because I do not like BISHIEZ.

Also would it JUSTIFY this image at all to you if I told you I was trying to develop a new style in which to re-illustrate the Obakemono Project? Probably not because that, like all massive research efforts, is obsessive and thus you can convince yourself it's worth getting all smug at me about AM I RITE?

God forbid!! You should know that one of the reasons I dev-watch you is because you DON'T draw those stereotyped and boring bishies.
What I meant with my little "criticism" was simply that both fanarts and your works have one thing in common: they're both representations of something that the author didn't invent himself/herself. I don't know if I did explain myself properly since english isn't my first language...

I actually love your Obakemono project big time. My point was: "you're doing a very good job illustrating all these rare asian folklore creatures, but since you've shown so much talent, I am now very curious to see a creature or a character totally invented by yourself because considering your skills it would probably turn out to be something quite cool". Did I make myself clear?

Also, writing critics on your works is the only way I get you to reply to my comments. (It always works, seriously!)
