HAHAHA Well... I was at a bookstore today looking through some mags to build up the mental library. My goal today was to draw draw draw, and not worry about a finished product, until I got back to the pad. I didn't think I would carry the pic this far. I wanted to push something new that I don't normally do, which is including real people in my gallery. Here we have Allen Iverson from the Sixers basketball team. Yeah, I know, I have to work on the resemblance, but that was not my intent, but I thought it might be close enough to follow through with it. I referenced this pic from the April edition of 'SLAM'.Hope y'all digs!

I really like this one! Maybe the bg text can be more sharp or less opacity?? i also don't know... Feel it's a bit...i also not sure how to say...haha, but anyway i love the character very much!!

Awesome man! i'm not the biggest AI fan but i still acknoledge his maad skillz. for effect, i suggest that he should hav been drawn closer to the ground and then the arm with the ball could have been extended more outwards. that'd hav made him look more like the ankle-breaker he is! good job tho! this gets a +fave!

The simplicity of you compositions are very impressive.
How you handle lines and color just cause your work to jump off the page (screen).

This is a really great pic, you should've just put him at a park court til you got tha likeness down. AI looks nothin' like that, except for maybe tha hair but you know that and I agree with Hector it would make a good T-Shirt, they would eat'em up where i'm from but it has to be atleast a 5XL, lol

the stylization and likeness is awesome. great job on the colours too, subtle and easy to look at without being "blah" if you feel me. the hint of motion leads to a pose that feels like its going to absolutely explode, which is something i dont see much. plus you know... youre onenna the only other cats i know that is as much a fan of the black eyes as me, so i mean, you got that going. hah!

Sean.... maan. This is so amazing. Seriously, there's something about this. I mean most of your work is untouchable but you've really nailed it on this one. I think it's the colour scheme combined with the line style. You could make a fortune selling this image. Love AI, he's such a character. Think he's pretty big in the states too. ha ha. If you could hook up a T-shirt print of this (just the character) i'd snap it up for sure. Props!!
