pros:
nice drawing. the finished art is very close to the original sketch. this shows that you have a very clear vision of what you want to draw -- right from the git-go. your drawing style reminds me of French color comix. simple, clean lines. looks like animation cels.
cons:
i am slightly disturbed by the subject matter. lovebirds? it looks like Superman is abducting a 12-year old girl. it's good that she is trying to fight back but i don't think she stands much chance against Superman. And Superman seems to be enjoying her resistance (he is smiling). a classic child abuse metaphor; the victim is helpless against the overpowering strength of her abuser. an unsettling image. i realize that i'm probably taking this out of context but...what is the heck is context of this scene?

I would think you would respect tgau for showing you one of the potetial misunderstandings people viewing your art could have. I too had to look at the picture a while to understand it. at first it seemed like he was fighting with a young girl. Sometimes the artist misses how their art can be interpretted by others.

For him to give you a good critique he would have to put it in the context in which he interpretted the art. Taste has nothing to do with it. He described it as he saw it.
