This was the final design I made for Sanji. She looks a lot older here though, and a bit more filled out in the chest area. dX This would be more what she looks like her senior year at the Soul Reaper Academy. (If I get that far)
Light spirited, a tendency to sleep in, and a fetish for sugar cakes this is Sanji! This character was inspired my Rukia Ktchiki. ^^

how can u learn to shade properly? cuz i do shade usually but i often have a feeling im wrong somewhere... pls reply

The best way to learn how to do shading corectly is to look at pictures of people/things with a single light source. Such as putting an egg in a dark room with only a flashlight pointing at it from one direction. Its a bit boring but it helps a lot!
As for color, I take a pic online and sample the color. You can also look at examples from art and other comics. I suggest copying the art as a learning process, just as long as you give the original artist credit. ^_-

If you keep doing it, it becomes second nature to learn where the shadows go. It also helps to ask the teacher what corrections can be done. Their input can make drastic improvements.

One thing that I always find hard to do is drawing characters to look like their age, but before I even read your comments, I guessed she was about 14 to 15 from the looks of it. You've done this for a while now, but great job portraying the age, it's something not acknowledged much by most artists but definitely an important aspect. Her eyes are also beautiful and the coloring detail for her hair is stunning.

I actually colored her right before I started the doujinshi. Then I added the highlight on her hair and the bg yesterday and I'm much more pleased with it now that its a complete picture.
Age consistency indeed. I meant for her to be a 3rd or 4th year at the academy because she looks that old here. But when I did that first page with her in it she suddenly became more cute/younger. So I kept it. ^^
