Drew this up mainly as a coloring exercise and to just have a ? image of what her sword would be... then it turned into this. This is way cooler than I imagined originally. *spazzes out* And don't worry her sword is not Snow based like Rukia's. Nor is this the final design, but its getting there."Sanji gazed with a feeling of silent awe at her sword as it shined with power. "What is your name...?" she uttered softly to the blade feeling warm in her hands. An answer in the form of a soft vibration came from the zanpaktou, but no clear voice called out to her. Her eyes were locked onto the blade in a strong wonder of what secrets the weapon she held had in store for her...." -~Darix-Dragon upon seeing this deviation.
Two commissions are in the works. Adam's is 80% finished and the sketch for is finally done. I'll post those as soon as I can.

It looks like this is when she is in her Inner World and initially acquires her Zanpakuto--perhaps when, or slightly before, she learns its name.

No its not. I would never ever call it 'Twillight' for reasons being you would most likely understand. ^^ But thank you, I like the lighting on it too!

My first thought was "So Zanpakuto evolve like pokemon?" Meaning that the blank sword it was before doesn't necessarily mean that its going to stay that way.

Looks pretty sweet, really like the look of contemplation in Sanji's eyes and judging by the sword's glow I'm guessing it's a light type Zanpakuto
