haha Hell yes, dig the whole night vision tint thing too.

MGS1 is definitely my fav Metal Gear game out of the saga.

For sure! And glad you liked the aesthetic choice. The original was drawn in red ink, then I went back over in black ink, but I can't figure out how to get the colors to display at the values I want them, so I aimed for that nostalgic night goggle VR paranoia vibe.

I love physics and logic systems in games. That's why the original MGS blew my mind: the soldiers where (at the time) brilliant. I pretty much stick to the game Skate these days solely because it has an awesome physics engine. Rising's slicing mechanism looks like it will be oodles of fun. They just have to face the hurdle of making Riden relatable and likeable. If Kojima's not tapped out, I'm sure they'll pull it off beautifully.
