Today is the International Cheetah Day Challenge!!The cheetah is an extraordinary gift of nature: the most graceful, the fastest, the electrifying! With a speed of up to 60 miles per hour, it is the fastest land animal and is a master of stealth and swift movement. It also has keen eyesight and can easily spot prey across the African safara.
Most comfortable in the grasslands of eastern and southwestern Africa, the cheetah has been adversely affected by settlers and the human presence. We've wrecked the cheetah's environment and continue to antagonize the cheetah, so now it's our duty to reverse the cheetah's endangered status and revitalize the cheetah population.

Note: I didn't have a reference when I was painting this, so excuse the anatomy. I tried to cover up with a mixture of other media so this is an..interesting work for me haha.

Certanly did. I have a few questions about the materials you used :
1.
white gel pen do you use this insted of masking fluid?
2.
Acrylic paint, I thought this was quite plasticy paint, but can it be mixed with other colours? I'm thinking of asking for a little box set of 5 primary colours or something for christmas, what brand do you use, and do you have a faveorite colour that you can't make from other colours? :3

did you use the metalic marker on the underbelly? I'm just trying to work out how you used them

1. [link] this is the pen I used; it's an opaque white paint that I used over the original painting to do the spots and outlines 
2. Yes it can definitely be mixed! To make a palette, you have to mix the colors with each other--I use BASICS which is quite popular and good quality. It's not professional level, but good for starters/experienced artists. Hm favorite color...not sure, but I use purple a lot to make darker colors
3. I used it in various places, but you can't really tell because I drew with the marker then used water to spread the pigment. I didn't really use it that much

Hehe my teacher let me use a water-soluble graphite pencil for a project and I loove it! You can draw with it then add water to create nice looking effects :3

Hi! This is kind of a late reply...>.< I had started to write something about a month ago and my computer froze,and I lost whatever it was - Thanks so much for you reply it was really helpful!I got a white 3D paint with a really small nib, a bit like your pen, but they don't sell those over here
