Description
This is my Secret Santa for Otaku4ever. She asked for something that has to do with someone still loving and trusting God even though they are hurting. I know it's a little late for Christmas, but I hope you like it!
This picture is symbolic, showing someone in a storm in her life but she has a light with her that will never go out--in the same way that we as Christians know that God is always with us, even in hard times.
I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and you have a happy new year!

I'm glad you like it. ^.^ It is a little different, I suppose, but I hope it captures what you requested. I used a mechanical pencil for this picture.

Thanks! It's one of my favorite tools. I draw pretty lightly most of the time, so I go into Photoshop to darken the lines to bring out the contrast a little more. My scanner also picks up a lot of the darker parts, too.

I like your interpretation of the request. I love the sketchy quality of your line work. It adds a lot to the symbolism behind the piece as well.
