Data and Lore. Except not really.

From the Forgotten Sons storyline I'm still working on, though these two only appear in historical references. The two elder of Data's five sons, Data and Lore, who were followed by Counsel, Wisdom, and Advice. While Lal had been built from Data's desire to reproduce, these five were built with the intent to help and protect the crew after the crash of the Enterprise. A purpose that still drives their descendants 300 years later.

Data built his first son and decided to let the little bugger name himself. Big mistake, as the new android loved his daddy so much he wanted his name too, and wouldn't be swayed otherwise. Fortunately, humans are quite adept at making up nicknames and called him such things as Junior, Little Data, or even "the other one." This eventually stopped since Data Sr. was simply called "Captain" by this point. When his brothers were made, Data Jr. appointed himself as their guide, protector, and leader when their father wasn't around, but when the time came all he had to offer them was vengeance and hatred for an enemy that would last centuries. However, he did pass down his own line the truth of what happened to his father and what to do should it happen again.

When Data made little Lore, a few of the crew were bitching that Data needed to stop making his damn kids identical to himself, but nobody was willing to donate their own visage for him to use, so his four remaining sons were given different eye-color. Lore, emotional like his uncle (though there the similarities end), was given red eyes representing passion. As the second child, he was partially raised by his elder brother, and the two developed a close relationship completely opposite of their father and uncle. Lore swore to his brother he and his line would always support him, and this remains true during the actual FS story. Every member of the Lore line gives unconditional support to the line of Data, even when members of the Advice attempt to overthrow the Data leadership.

But here they're just two brothers. One with too much responsibility on his shoulders, and the other who tries to share it when he can.

This is just a cleaned up sketch that was colored and I like the way it turned out, save for the fact I completely finished up Data 2 before I even started on Lore and it shows. Maybe I'll whip up the other three boys later.
