Description Heh, guess I couldn't get enough after doing that Arceus . I've got a couple that I plan to do (at least, as soon as I figue out why my stylus suddenly stopped working right when I finished this...

- Shaymin's foreleg was hard to structure. Looking at how it moves in the anime, the wrist joint is much higher up on the leg than a canine.

- The neck was insanely hard to fit 7 vertebrae in such a tiny space, but I got it. On the other hand, the back has very few vertebrae after the ribs. I wasn't sure how to avoid this besides making them way too small or lessen the ribs, neither of which seemed viable.

I love how thouroghly you think your drawings through. I've always found it a good passtime to attempt to explain the nonsensicalness of pokemon, then rant about the things that are simply rediculous. Drawing their skeletons is fun, too, but I've never posted one cuz they suck

This is beautiful work! truly impressive!
I do wonder, if it was difficult to fit, why you picked that number of ribs and vertebrae?

Ah, I was trying to keep from deviating too much from my real-life reference. Also, most mammals have 7 neck vertebrae.

How could you disect a shaymin?!

There are many Shaymin, catching one a cutting it in half wouldn't be a problem unless you're Jessy, James, or Meowth...

Oh wow, it looked like you put a lot of effort into this. Great job! 8D And if your tablet pen isn't responding, you may have to reinstall the software that came with it.

Just wondering... wouldn't there be bones inside the ears too? I mean, if they're able to stand up and Skymin can move them on its own. I'd imagine them being sort of like the bones inside a bat wing.

About the ear part, as far as I know, every single animal ear is made out of cartilage, just like noses, that's why there are small shafts in the middle and the sides of skulls.

Tails are an exception to this rule, since they must be solid enough to be used as a "rudder" (or whatever is called), considering there are muscles there, too.

@Chibi-Pika: And yay for Skymin skeleton, I bet you had an easy time with this compared to the Arceus one xD

Well my computer itself is a tablet, so the software came with it, but after restarting my computer, it worked fine again *breathes deep sigh of relief.* xP

For a while I considered how to best do the ears, but figured that they'd probably just be made of cartilage. They appear to move and rotate too flexibly in order to be bone. Most animals can move their ears, some with a grat range of motion, and there's plenty of room on Skymin's skull for muscles to attach to them.
