This is a Shuttlecraft inspired by a design by

With the borders of the Federation ever expanding, Earth Starfleet realized that there was sufficient need for a shuttlecraft capable of making the long journeys between planets and stations, and this Shuttlecraft is the first step in that direction, equipped for short-range warp travel.

The Shuttlecraft is 8 meters in lenght and was designed to be highly modular, the version seen here is the standard version, but it can be equipped with either a Phaser Turret for self-defense or a antena to help's parent ship or station with long-range scannings.

The Shuttlecraft forward section contains the helm and control panels for all it's systems, then seats for all it's occupants. The aft section could be modified depending on it's mission profile, allowing for extra cargo or an informal living area with workstation and a bunk area.
