Yeah. He looked awesome there! Although honestly they were too bulky. Carnotaurus were actually super thin compared to T rex. Like a cheetah compares to a lion.

Ooh. I like that. I was thinking of doing a big painting with a mama and babies. I could put spots on them like that. Lots of babies have spots

John-AM In reply to chill13 [2018-05-03 22:26:46 +0000 UTC]
Ooh, thatβs true! Spots would look neat on the little guys! Another thing I wonder, if carnotaurus had feathers, I wonder how that would look with the little horns in amongst that.

Well they have some pretty impressive skin impressions with no evidence of feathers. So probably not.

Ohhh, I didnβt realize they found skin impressions. Thatβs cool to know. Have you heard how theyβve been able to find out the colors of some prehistoric animals?

Yeah, they have alot of variety! I like the blue raptor most, I can't see what species that it is, but I like that one. Some of the sets too, I like the one with the eggs and protoceratops skull. So detailed!!

I know, right! What are they gonna do with all those poor dinos? Maybe move them to Isla Sorna? I mean eventually, obviously, from the trailers someone wants to make another off island zoo or something.....

It's a good feeling when you get to the end of a sketch book, especially when it's full of watercolor sketches and stuff like that.
