Description Day five of the 30 Day Challenge: Steam
So...of course I had to play with steampunk.  It's a style I think is really cool and and idea that's a lot of fun.  
I have Rover all sketched out for this pic too, but I just didn't have the time or energy to do him too.  However I WILL do a larger and more complete version of this.  So when the thirty days are over expect it.

I love it! Flyspur looks smart and very tech savvy in that outfit! Steampunk is one of my favorite fashion styles too

He is, as always the information go-to guy.  And with all those arms he can be answering several questions at once!  

It is?!  That's awesome!  I just love the look and the idea.  The only problem I have with it is some of the inappropriately skimpy outfits a lot of the girls wear.  But, of course, I guess you get that with ANY style.

It looks like it was fun to color! Weird to want to design shoes for Steampunk Flyspur? Nope! I always drive myself nuts because I can never seem to draw people small enough to get their legs and feet in.

I love the look of this! I like steampunk too, it's just... cool. The contrasting green and purple give the image a stylish feel. I wonder what Steampunk Flyspur is exploring.
Actually for some reason something about Flyspur in this pic kind of makes me think of my character in that sci-fi story I'm working on...

It's such a fun genre!!  Have you read any books in it?

I actually really like those colors on him.  I might just use them more often.  He really does have more than just two outfits.

I haven't! Actually I didn't realize it was a genre for books too, thought it was just a look. XD I imagine a steampunk book would be awesome.

I'm not totally sure, but I think the goggles (though I never imagined him with goggles before) with the kinda messed up hair in front, and the puffy sleves, though I never imagined him with that before either... And the overall explorer look. You might be fueling my inspiration for him!! His name is Marcus btw.

HAHA!  I love it!  This style fits perfectly for him! The goggles are awesome and I just thinks it's cool to see an old fashioned sextant! Definitely an airship pilot!
Man this makes me almost wish that Hi Ho was steam powered.

I was surprised at that myself! It seems the guy can pull off a lot more than just Jssfloon style.

Well, there is quite a bit in it that is steam punk inspired. Rover's arm and the design of the Nellie-Bell to name the most obvious.

Me too!! I've read a few books under the genre and I just ADORE the idea! It does suit him pretty well, surprisingly!

Thanks! Yeah, his usual bright yellow and muted green just didn't fit the steam punk look. So I played around until I found this.
