1) my scanner fails because it doesn't fit my drawings which are 11x14'' (TAT)
2) this was an experiment to see if I could draw people in this awkward sort-of birds-eye view way. I think it worked, sort of.
3) I still don't know whether to list this under "manga/anime", or something else. my style is so half-hazard it's hard to say. xD
4) and yay for bull-shitting backgrounds!

Very pretty lines, and her shirt is very neat- the lacing works and doesn't look flat. The background isn't boring- it's interesting, and gives the picture its title. The one nuance is that she looks as if she had very little neck- it's a hard perspective to accomplish properly, so practice and practice
