thanks for the advice I will try it out next time. I was actually thinking of trying acetate, have you tried this before?

ye acitate is good..i have tried it...somtimes the knife slides as its plastic..
i would say use that brown tuff thin cardboard the clothing people use for patterns...thats what im going to work with....
and the spot in the middle..''islands'' can be held in place with thin wire taped in place ..to steady the ..island..or seperate panel..exaple the ''o'' in o.
the japanese used to use hair to bridge the ''island'' wen they silk screened a design..in times before the design was actualy stuck to the screen.
