Description
I was amazed how there were no technopathic characters in Futurama, so I've made this original character, Elena "Helen of Troy" Ortiz. I based her design off of the Overwatch character Sombra. Like Sombra, Ortiz is a technopath, a human with the ability to manipulate technology. In this case, Ortiz uses her abilities to create trojan horse software and ransomware with her mind to extort money digitally, framing Bender in the process.
Left at an institute at age thirteen by her Honduran parents, when her technopathic powers kicked in, her parents never returned to pick her up. As a consequence, Ortiz grew bitter towards normal people and turned to a life of crime and eschewed her parents as well as her birth name. She is an expert in utilizing data-mining algorithms and other malicious programming.
