Elven Hall

so i went to monarch woods, the former elvish settlement having remembered last time i walked through there and how i was thinking i should go there for a photoshoot sometime. it rained a lot and for like 20 seconds it even hailed a bit. by the time i got to monarch woods though the rain had stopped, so i put on my thick hat, i put the scarf around my face and the mittens on my hands and off i was to endure the blistering cold for a few good shots. It was a rather pecculiar overcast light. The sky was dark blue, a gray of strange sort. The trees at their tops were naked and served as seating for many a crow. It was creepy actually, their call was not to be mistaken for anything else and there were so many of them. Well nevertheless i passed them unharmed and headed towards the Wooden Paths of Elven Hall. There is a creek that flows through those woods and along it they built a wooden trail, long ago before they left, so that their young could lye on it and listen to the water sing. strangely epic folk, these elves, yet why they left is still a mystery. While photographing there i encountered 2 little dogs that both startled me, one of which twice. angry little bugger, wouldnt come to be petted and was scared of me as if i were of another world, but still barked his lungs out at me. i never liked poodles much the other was a pug. lovely little beast was merely making sure i know he's there and that i dont mean it any harm. I thought of you and shot 2 self portraits as well. by the end of it all my hands were half frozen, so sitting in the car was a welcomed change. i went back home after and had something to eat.
