She has tried to make the most of this by gaining "friends" in the right places, not to further herself, but to better protect herself against what would most definitely come her way. She gives off the appearance of not really having problems in her life.
Organization is crucial for success in… anything, and Syn prides herself on keeping her affairs in order, despite bordering on the obsessive. While she commits most facts to memory, the living mind is fickle and paper is bulky, so most dealings and necessary information are stored on a small USB drive kept on her at all times (not much better, but easily disposable, always coded). Considering how much she had to invest to have it smuggled and the penalties associated if ever found, Synth guards the thing like a hawk.
