Lucille likes to act clueless at times. Because of this many end up underestimating her, but she actually has a very sharp mind. She is always cheerful, always happy, always displaying...a fake smile. In truth, she's a demoness through and through. Having lived with a heartless demon obsessed with increasing his reign, Lucille has become a bloodthirsty demoness herself. However, when the times demand it of her, she can be quite serious and neutral. She knows how to behave like a lady, having been grooming herself all her life to reach a high social status. But she also knows how to hide her feelings and own interests behind a mask. She knows what dangers lurk around every corner for her and because of that she doesn’t stop training and growing her strength. Lucille is also highly intelligent, perceptive and quick-witted, often analyzing every detail of the environment around her before executing a plan. While she is quick witted, Lucille does have a bit of a temper and an uncanny ability to hold a grudge. If she feels like she’s been slighted then she will stop at nothing to get vengeance. Normally this depends on the person and the act. Should it be a mistake, Lucille is not one to forgive or even help out of the goodness of her heart.

» History: In a rather industrialized part of Europe, Lucille was the result of a torrid love affair between her mother and a struggling artist by the name of Ajax Moriarty. Upon discovering that his lover was pregnant, he immediately put his dreams on the back burner and found humble, but steady work for them at one of the coal-fired power plants so as to provide for the start of their little family. Life wasn't easy, every day was a struggle to make ends meet, to put food on the table, and to keep a roof over their heads; but they were happy. Alas, it was not to last. Lucy was three when her mother started coming home with a lingering cough, and had just turned five when she finally succumbed to the massive amounts of toxins in her system from all the years of inhaling the fly ash at her workplace. Her father tried for a year to pick up the pieces and find a job, staying with friends when they had the space to house him and Lucille, but no one wanted to hire an untrained stay-at-home little daddy, not in a man's industry. Though she was still little at the time, Lucille can still remember how strong her father seemed throughout the trying time, always with a smile and a fighting spirit, but in the corners of her mind, she knew her father was a drunk when she wasn't looking. Finally, with no where to turn and no means of providing for his daughter, he went to the owner of the power plant in hopes that mercy would be extended and some kind of compensation would be available due to his lover's death being directly linked to the business. Instead, taken by his beauty and boldness, the man offered him marriage with one of his daughters, with the promise of a comfortable life. Desperate and lonely, he agreed.

Being too young to understand, Lucille resented her father for abandoning her mother's memory by marrying another woman, that resentment only growing with the arrival of her first sibling. It would be many years before she realized just how much her father went through and sacrificed for her, but by then it would be too late. Despite her grudge, she still respected the qualities that her father displayed on a daily basis, being fiesty while still being kind and only growing in wisdom. She got in many a fight, both verbal and physical, with anyone who dared to call her father a drunk or herself a bastard. It became her goal to be like the strong, upbeat man, though she inwardly vowed to be even better by never making the mistake of betraying her true love, as she thought her father had done.

Sweet little baby in a world full of pain. She couldn't handle another year. This sadness wouldn't leave her.

Her father hugged her. And felt nothing but bones.
She is starting to crumble and isn't sure how much more she can take.

“I remember that one night my father had to come and lay with me, I was crying so hard he must’ve heard my heart rattling in my chest. He came in softly, asking if I needed anything, to his surprise, I needed him.
So he laid next to me, holding me, talking to me as I was gasping for air in-between sobs.
I haven't felt beautiful in months.
I want to tell him. Oh, how much I want to tell him. I want to explain all of it. I want to lay my soul out and show him. Why I am the way I am. I want to tell him so badly, the words burn my throat.
But somehow I could never manage to tell him.”

She ran, she was gone, she ran as far as she could from her family.
She was settled then, the darkness had consumed her. Hatred grew inside her like cancer, the dizziness just complimented this failure of a girl.
She took Darkrai's offer without batting an eyelash.

Thus, during those periods of times she disappears from anyones sight until the storm passes, not wanting to show a weakness to anyone.
Losing her sister and father. Lucille's weakness is certainly her family. If she sees them in danger, she tends to act before she thinks. Her need to be great in the eyes of her father drives her often to be reckless and over zealous.
