Detail sta.sh/013ilmtwc6d1.... the image is not great... this piece is a little larger than normal, so I can’t scan it .... and so far my pics have been terrible .... at some point I will update with a better photo.
Also I forced a warm push on the color.... but this is black and white.
the grey shadows were just too dominant.... going warm made it feel softer.

I feel like the shortened trunk works more effectively. If you had made it longer and thinner, it might not have been as effective.

Thanks much, I tried moving on to a larger size to see how that affected the scale of my patterns.....
unfortunately, since this won’t fit on my scanner, it is a lot more detailed than the image shows..... a lot of the grey areas are areas of fine pattern. But I need to take a better picture for any of that to show.
But...I guess I do like the soft feel of a photographed image even if it is less accurate. I like the atmosphere

I worked a little larger this time.... unfortunately the pic I took is not great so a lot of the detail was lost in the documenting process....oh well
