Older art from... I think earlier this year.Whenever I'm in an art slump, I find myself rejuvenated again by thinking up a short story and drawing an image based upon that inspiration.
In this case, I had seen the trailer to World of Warcraft's new expansion, with the blood elf draining the energy from the creature.
This is a character related to the Moon's Age of Drowtales [link] , one of several 'mythical heroes' to help flesh out some of the dark elves' early history.

Yeah no kidding. We get bombarded enough as it is by the gaming industry with skanky warrior women. It's hard to get those images out of your head when trying to think of something fresh.
