"To find out how long you will live, blow the seeds off the head of a Dandelion on the first fullmoon after bloom. You will live as many years as there are seeds left on the head."Fairies are immortal. If Orin blows his lungs out for hours, the dandelion seeds won't move a tiny bit. If he tries to rip them out of the stem, they will grow back, stronger. It's one of the very few things that make him furious. And Kael loves teasing the ever-happy-fairy until he's down to grumpy-suicidal-emo-kid

Well, I don't know if you've seen my "fairy luck" pic, but I explain a bit there why I draw their sketches using different coloured pencils. In this case it's because Kael is a faun so very much related to the earth and to the woods, and also has a passionate personality, so that's why I used this reddish brown for him
Concerning Orin, his element is wind but he likes water most(he loves the floaty feeling) and I used this turquoise colour for him
