Update: Redid it with my newer model
A volcano has erupted endangering a nearby town, IR manage to delay the lava flow allowing time for the 1023 occupants to be evacuated. At the last second, TB1 crammed full of people, takes off before it is consumed by the lava flow.
Had to do it sooner or later, my favourite Thunderbird... Sleek, first and fast with a dazzling array of gadgets and gizmos, it's Thunderbird 1 set against the contrasting orange of a volcano.
This also gave me an opportunity to fix up my original TB1 model which in hindsight, was pants.

Huh, it's taken me this long to comment on this? Love this pic. Great picture. Lovely use of shadows and lights with the fire. It would make a great episode.
Reminds of one the annual stories where TB1 had to do a rescue at a volcano.

Fantastic! It's really dynamic and has that very Thunderbirds-style sense of urgency, with TB1 taking off just as there's another explosion of lava.
