Gerik has been my visual reference for Erik, at least in terms of "mask on" appearance to me. It's closer to Ramin Erik in terms of vulnerability and scar makeup; Cherik has ALWAYS been Erik's soul, even before I saw the Yeston-Kopit mini series for the first time.
