This quote wasn't in the 1990 miniseries (where the character designs are from) but from the actually musical. It's from a poem by William Blake and is one of the verses in the Phantom's song, "My Mother Bore Me."Aside from that, I wanted to draw a happy Erik picture because there is seldom any happy version of Erik. So TA DA!
