That is very cool. I haven't done much pottery, but I imagine it wouldn't be too hard to tip it a little and even make the body of the vase become the body of the octopus? I peeked at the rest of your gallery and saw lots of tentacles. Great stuff!

Thank you! Mmm... I haven't done too many different techniques, but I think if I was going to make it into a body, I would throw off the hump? That way, it could have a rounded bottom to shape and smoosh into a head. You're right though, it wouldn't be too hard ^_^
