they certainly add depth to the scene.
btw: is shooting with your leica III very different to using M cameras? i guess it is somewhat more complicated.

With the Leica III rewinding after shooting a frame is quite slower, you miss a couple of seconds between two shots. It's a LOT louder. It's a lot more trouble to load the film. Framing is less precise. Focusing was a pain because of the age of the mirrors... plus you focus through a viewfinder and you frame through another.

I was still glad and proud of my Leica III... until some slower speeds stopped working properly. I sold it and got my M2. After my primitive rangefinder experience, using the M2 is like heaven
