it was planned. Actually, originally the plan was just to show the frozen action with a plain background, but thanks God I found a cool fountain that gave me the idea lol

and the answer to the other question... two shots... it was hard to predict when the water was coming up or not, and it was film - so I had no LCD screen to preview it...

Outstanding!!! Was this done repeatedly to get the shot or was this just a one take wonder, either way it is utterly amazing.. The water looks great and so does the model, Good job

I took two shots... just in case, because I was shooting film and I could not see how was it coming out - until getting it developed. I got lucky since the two shots I did came out good.
