I love the composition of this shot.
it's completley adorable, but very tasteful at the same time.
I get really sick of seeing the same old shots that are just meant to be cute, sexy, or pretty, on DA... with no actual though to the composition of the photo.
I'm not sur eif this was planned but it sure impresses me, the kitty really stands out and the baackground is busy, but not destracting and it takes talent to do a shot like that.
The black and white helps too. Nice job!

well, numerous aspects of the shot were planned. countless were not. i mean, my kitty, she's smart, but she does not care about where i think she is supposed to sit. the sun -- i did not really plan the lighting, although i knew it was good when i ran out and decided to take some kitty photos. luckily, she was in a relaxed mood, and sat for me to play composer.

I like the composition of the subject. I like the tones too it add impact to the mood of the kitty staring somewhere. There's a certain longingness to the photo... or it's just me.
