Description
As requested, here's another Asriel drawing.Originally, I was going to do something a bit more happy, but I found that I was hitting the undo button too many times with little progress, which was frustrating, so I decided I would try again later... And when the time came to try again, I was feeling a bit sad because of something that's been bothering me for the past week or so, which I don't really want to talk about here...
So, this kind of turned into vent art or something, I guess.
It's a bit hard to tell since I made this so dark, but I happen to be in the camp of people who prefer Asriel with red eyes (to match Toriel's eyes).
I'm pretty happy with how this turned out. I don't draw Asriel from the front perspective as much (I have a tendency to draw characters at an angle, almost always facing the left), so this was a nice change of pace.
Asriel Dreemurr and Undertale belong to Toby Fox.

thank you so much, this is going to be my first work and its going to be done from a crappy photoeditor/drawing app because I don't have monney for a good one. my plan with ediditing was to out line the photo so I have the out line of asriel. then change to were he is smiling and has no tears and the last editis that he will have lime green eyes. I will link the original with credit to you.

Also, may I suggest something? Since my original drawing is somewhat dark, I strongly recommend that you use Asriel's official overworld sprite as a reference for the colors. I used it as a reference for my drawing, too, but then I adjusted the brightness to achieve the darker look in the picture. And since you're gonna have him smiling, it would make more sense if you used the brighter versions of the colors.

Iv always found it interesting how Toriel's battle sprite has colored eyes. As far as I know, She hers is the only "regular" style battle with color in her battle sprite, even if it is really subtle. I say regular because Omega flowey is a different type of fight in my opinion.

Yeah, I also found it to be a rather interesting detail.
What about Sans, though? He has the glowing eye, and it's in color. Or are you also not counting him because he's a final boss? Although, either way, it's definitely a lot more flashy (literally). Toriel's eye color is subtle, like you said, and I wouldn't be surprised if some people didn't even notice it at first.

I totally forgot about Sans. And yeah, I actually didn't notice Toriels eyes until probably the third run at least.
