Description I was contemplating putting this in fanart because there was one certain image that contributed to this picture...but in the end I feel that I changed it into something so completely different that the other is my inspiration, not reference.

Other than that, was going to color it too, but I felt like shading, yup.

I'm loving the 'wide-eyed' expression you've given her. She's alight with curiosity and the poised 'o' of her lips lends into it as well. And the shade of blue! Now that certainly brings her alive as well; a different shade, something other than black, that fits the personality of this image so perfectly.

I really like the shading, did you use a colored pencil or just tone it up in photoshop? In any case it came out really nice. *steals jewl out of her forehead to sell on eBay*

Nahh, it's regular graphite pencils, just monotoned to blue in Photoshop---always a nifty trick.

i love the wings in this picture and the way that you shaded it! Only thing is that around the waist those lines seem off to me...i dunno why heh.. beautiful picture nonetheless.
