One hot August on the way to hike in the Bridger Wilderness I stopped to watch rafters on the Green and trains on the Union Pacific. An Eastbound coal train pulled by an SD40 (not a dash-2) approaches shortly after an Westbound Centennial .Related content

Indeed, chop nose SD40s. There's one out here assigned to the local switching very similar to these, and even has the 3000 series road number.
