Description Firstly- I understand the tail is well off-balance with the rest of the drawing- The background you see is not the final product... heck, this sucker might get colored.

The head is actually moreover what I wanted when I was working on "Leave me alone"- funny how things work out

I'm also experimenting with different inking techniques- I think this one turned out nicely... but I think I'm going to have to invest in some pens other than Micron... the brush pen worked great on large stuff, but there's no way I can use it on smaller stuff. Any suggestions?

I think you should leave it as it is.
The fact that you've placed a sketch over colour, makes it stand out more and people appreciate the drawing more

It's interesting....but even in plain ink....or rough ....some of your work reminds me of Gieger ....something about the 'bones' maybe...anyways I find the way you put things together...excellent...as usual

I like the bone leading edge on the wings, it's a good idea, one i haven't seen before...my only critique (other than the tail, which u already pointed out) would be the aerodynamics of having the large, flat top of the head pointed into the wind...

Hey bro. Try spoon pens. Like the set I bought you oh so long ago. The ones you use with an ink well. They take a while to master, but the end result is completly worth it. One of the cleanest of your drawings I have ever seen (less sketchy and more precise inking). I like it. Keep experimenting. Oh yeah, one more thing, you can buy about a thousand different heads for that pen. It might be your best bet.

The detail in this is awesome. My microns have served me pretty well, especially the .005 for super fine detail. The wings are amazing, and the ridge on them is done in a very unique and inventive way.

^_^ Coool...

*likes*

I use Faber Castell technical pens when inking, they're quite good but the paper used has to be good or the ink'll bleed.

*blinku*

I hope that helps...
