For day four of Cloud Strife Appreciation Week on Tumblr.The prompt was "favorite relationship", and obviously I picked Cloud's relationship with Aeris .
I wanted to draw a picture of one of many reasons why their relationship was so important to me, and in the end I decided to depict Cloud walking Aeris home after they meet again at the church. I love this scene so much, mostly because Cloud laughs. Cloud laughing with Aeris is very important to me, so I decided to draw it for the prompt.

I guess it's because of his portrayal in spin-off games, with the Advent Children appearance being the most egregious in terms of the "emo" category. I never saw him as emo in AC, but rather someone going through the five stages of grief. I guess the "gay" part is mostly a shipping thing, since pairings like Clack and Clephiroth are pretty popular. I don't personally ship either of those pairings (I do BroTP him with Zack, though), or any other pairings with Cloud in them aside from my OTP.

Her original incarnation is pretty similar to her KH incarnation, except more sassy and flirty. Like, her KH self is good, but Aeris in FFVII is way better.
