OMG, I love the design of this creature!
It look like Satyr with a combination of a big cat...

Also (I think I see that) he already had small claws and 2 swords so a dagger (on his right leg) is a bit to much or to big I quess... but that's just me xD

Looked like a minotaur to me. Still, good design, i like the fur details you put into. The overall cloth design is cool and mystical..

This is a cool design, Nick! And I caught up with it mere days after it was posted!

There's something slightly awkward about the feet that's bugging me, though, and I'm having trouble putting my finger on it. Perhaps simply turning his left foot to face more away from us would do the trick.

Yes, the way I painted the edge of the red "pants" on the furthest leg makes it look as if the knee is turned outward, and the foot doesn't correspond to that. I will fix the problem somehow. It might also be a little too close to the viewer.

I like all of your creatures you come up with- I can't help but wonder about size comparisons, though.

If you read the blog you can see how tall this creature is.
I place the camera low sometimes, which makes smaller creature look big, but that's okay I think. I don't want all insects for example to be painted from above. When you add equipment to a guy like this the mind take for granted that the stuff is the same size you are accustomed to. I had a small crossbow hanging on this creature's back initially, but I had to erase it, because it made the creature look really big...
Thanks!

Feels pretty solid! Good capturing of the weight with the lighting and colors. Could bump up the shadow under the right arm and ground the back foot better. But hey that's just me. Really digging these new creatures and characters man.
