One of my favorite movies. OF. ALL. TIME.
I try to watch it at least once a year, it's so motivational and inspiring. Masterpiece!

Love your rendition of it here and your brushwork near the taillight is brilliant! Especially the brush you used. It makes it look like the light is being refracted by the steam/heat of the bike.

The first Japanese animation I ever watched. I was nine years old and it blew me away and to this day I still love it. Great job it's nice to see some work from what I consider real anime. I don't care for the kiddy stuff.

AKIRA, known to be a Must-see anime movie that takes place in another world War, everything is falling apart in Japan in the year 2018 or 2012... wikipedia....

and this is Kaneda, the main character in the anime.
