Holy Moley Cow! 600 dpi is a lot. Professional printing requires 300 dpi and web content requires only 150.

I see where you were going with this one. You have a decent eye for motion and anatomy. It can take a while just to develop that. The hand is very good, whether it was your own or you had to borrow it from another picture (they challenge the bejesus out of me). The perspectives are a little off and the posing, while well positioned between the character and the "camera", is could be a little more dynamic. For example, as it looks like he is sort of "action-falling" into the frame from the left, I would have straightened his right leg out. It broadens the stance to deal with the speed at which his weight hit the ground and wouldn't just fall over.

Hey, Thanks so much for the tips! I originally made it at 600 dpi so I could shrink it to half size (300 dpi) to get the 'blur' effect like in this: [link] It didn't work though :/ you're totally right about that last part. originally I was trying to make it look like he was doing some sort of turn and not so much a fall, but something went wrong and it didn't really end up looking like that. It probably had something to do with his arm's position, though. The next project I'm going to be working on will take my perspective skills to their limits, so I'll have a chance to improve with that soon (if I can get off my butt and continue working on it). Thank you so much for your time!
