I dont usually show off my sketches cuz they're messy and meh but like...i've managed to accumulate quite a few of Smallfeather and Splashfang, and they're just sitting in my folders rn so I figured I'd post 'em.

1- Smallfeather may often act like a grumpy, independent woman who don't need a man, but she loves to fling herself into Splashfang's arms, though she doesn't do it often because that would ruin the surprise!

2- The pair's default way of standing if they're next to each other. One hand on a hip, Splash's elbow resting on Small's shoulder, and Small's other hand on her mate's back.

3- Splash isn't the only heavy lifter in the relationship. Small can easily throw her 6 foot tall mate over a shoulder and carry him across the territory if need be. She has great strength and endurance. Which comes in handy when her hot-blooded mate tries to start a fight. She can pick him up and carry him away when things get too tense. Splash pretends to hate it.

4- High ranks don't get a lot of alone time. Smallfeather was thrown head first into becoming the Smith by StarClan, and then her mate became deputy. Their workload means they don't get tons of time together, so they try to make the best of it. Here, they've probably caught just a few moment's respite before duty calls, and the pair lean gratefully into one another, tails twining, probably too tired for words so touches will make do!

Thank you for staring at my awful sketches. #2 was drawn before Splash had an "official" design, so that's why his clothes and face look slightly different. Also, idk what i was trying to do with Small's top in that same sketch. I made her have like a loop of fabric at her waist?? idk, her clothes arent actually like that, I was just trying it out.
