One of the white tigers at the controversial T.I.G.E.R.S. Preservation Station at Barefoot Landing in Myrtle Beach, SC. Sadly, this is one of the few places I have been to where I can take photos of tigers without having to deal with a fence. The adult tigers are in a public exhibit and are free to look at and admire, so no. I didn't contribute any money to their "business."

For those not familiar with the T.I.G.E.R.S. Preservation Station, they allow people to have their photo taken with tiger cubs. Essentially, their tigers exist for the sole purpose of making money for themselves - NOT for tiger conservation projects like they claim. When I get the chance, I'll work on compiling a blog entry detailing the more unknown facts about places like this and why people should deny the temptation of handling tiger cubs.
