#Artfight2021 attack for AG-Illustrations (Babushka on Artfight.net) of their character Odette!

I also didn’t get to post this drawing in time before artfight ended, but I completed it as a thank you to Babs for the super adorbs attack they gave me.

This painting is a personal fav. I really tried my best to push the values in the pencil sketch (spoiler… I failed) but while doing the digital gradient maps, I was able to push the values and do a little bit of shading to get the results I originally wanted. It helped me learn a bit more about pushing darker values. Hopefully next time I try this technique I can accomplish more contrast in the shadows traditionally. :>
