When Greg and a group of high school students agreed to play a game of spider tag, it seemed like a harmless idea. What they did not know was the girl they agreed to play spider tag with was a witch in disguise. After putting a barrier in place to make sure no one left the area, she transformed herself into something that was part spider and part human.
They all took the game far more seriously. Many of them screamed and hid as if their lives depended on it. Greg did his best to hide too but it was no use. In her spidergirl form, the witch had enhanced senses. Not only could she hear Greg breathing, but she could smell the cold pizza he had eaten for his last meal.
The witch silently floated up behind Greg and tagged him before he even knew what was going on. In a few minutes, she had found them all. Greg was the first one tagged, so he was selected to be the spider. She cast a spell on him.
The changes took place almost immediately. He grew in size, spider limbs emerged from his back, and his eyes turned a dark shade of red. However, the first thing he noticed were the breasts growing out of his body. He was starting to look exactly how the witch did when she was in her spider form.
"Why did you make me like this?" demanded Greg in his new female voice which sounded more frightened than demanding.
"Female spiders are larger than male ones so it is better suited for the game," explained the witch knowing they would not accept her explanation but also knowing they were powerless to do anything about it. "The name Greg does not seem right for you. I shall call you Gloria instead."
Greg tried to object but his old name disappeared from his mind. She had forgotten she had any name other than Gloria. Soon after that, she had forgotten being male, or even human.
"Catch them my little spider," commanded the witch.
Obediently, Gloria began chasing the others. Once all of them were caught one of them would be selected to be the spider and so on and so forth. All they could do was hide to delay the inevitable.
