Personality: Gunnvarr is a female that seems to have a bit of a dangerous air about her and a somewhat of a short fuse. The glint in her
eyes, her very toothy grin, might make one think she's plotting someone's funeral. She's not afraid of confrontation and almost seems to
enjoy physical altercations if it means defending her pack..viciously and mercilessly at that. Gun is bull headed and stubborn, to a degree. If
her actions would cause her to disobey or be insolent to her superiors she'll hold her tongue, regardless of whether she agrees or not, out
of respect for their higher rank. She's very protective of her pack, and if she should ever be blessed with a family they in turn would be
cursed with overprotective Gunnvarr. The female holds arrogance when it comes to other packs and loners, believing them to be
lesser wolves living in the shadow of the Vale. But, it's not all bad! Despite these testy ways of hers, Gunnvarr is undyingly loyal, enjoys
pups and welcomes their nibbling and climbing over her as if she were some jungle gym and respects her superiors. She's a hardworking
she wolf, always active and alert of her surroundings and..lastly..has a bit of a fascination with antlers. A shed antler, or a skull with antlers
attached, is a must have to add to the collection she has.

Pre-Group History: Gunnvarr was born to a single mother in a pack far to the east of The Vale. Her father, a loner male she'd never known,
had a one night encounter with the female before going on his merry way. It was not an act that went unpunished, and her mother...a proud
hunter...was demoted to Omega. The single pup, named Gunnvarr, was given to another already-nursing female and her mate...the two
more worthy of having children. For the first few months of her life, Gun thought her adoptive mother was her real one..until the latter
female found herself alone in Gunnvarr's presence one evening. Desperate for the youngster to know she was her real mother the female
spoke the truth to her. When one would expect Gunnvarr to rejoice, to run into her true mother's arms and weep of happiness there was
instead anger. This female was not her mother, no. She may have given birth to her, but she was not raising her. But that was not what truly
angered Gun. Rather, it was the fact that her true mother had defied the laws of the pack and mated to an outsider without permission. Had
borne a pup, herself, with no father to help raise it and instead had expected the pack to pick up the slack. The pup knew she would have
become a burden, rather than a blessing, for the folly of this she wolf. Gunnvarr shunned her blood-mother, much to the female's shocked
dismay, and returned to her adoptive parents without a second look.
In her second year of life Gunnvarr and the others in her age group participated in the coming-of-age ceremony. It wasn't an easy task. The
ceremony consisted of the two year olds sparring against one another. Only a single winner would be permitted to remain with the
pack...with the rest cast into the life of a loner to find their own way. Needless to say, Gunnvarr did not succeed in this. Though able to
defeat her first two challenges on the third she fell to one of her male peers. So the female was cast out with little else than a brief goodbye
to her adoptive parents. For two years she traveled as a loner, perfecting her skill of hunting and tracking, finding shelter, and being able to
read the land and skies for she would otherwise not have survived. Now, in her fourth year, she is a prospective member to Vale.
