Marrok's movements are best described as 'loose', his body and limbs moving with a smooth fluid like grace that is likely to be attributed to his lack of muscle bulk and instead having lean and slender muscle. In Depth:
All around, Marrok puts on an aura of a boring and secretive fellow. If you get to actually have some interaction time with him, however, he starts to seem a little more self-centered and..well he sort of is. Having spent most of his life up until now with emotionally abusive brothers and often busy parents, the slender male is used to taking it upon himself to make himself happy and disregarding the wants or needs of others. After all, nobody else was going to take care of Marrok's emotional needs so why should he take care of theirs? Marrok lives for Marrok, and fie on anyone else. For the most part. In fact, believe it or not, Marr can be thoughtful. A bit. He may be self-centered and selfish, but he's not heartless. If another is truly in need, and cannot do without help, the grey-brown wolf will give in and offer his assistance.
Marrok is not overly emotional, either. His expressions and a shift in tone of voice are subtle. This is all due to him bottling up his emotions, his hurt that he was seen as weak and incapable by his brothers and even his parents from time to time. Sure, he was a quicker learner and in fact loved to use his mind over brawn but that wasn't overly useful in a pack of battle-hardened warriors. So Marrok has made a habit of pushing emotions away, particularly those that hurt, in favor of disinterest.
But these emotions do still exist. Deep down, buried in his subconscious, and what better time for them to surface than when he's teetering on the brink of sleep? Oftentimes Marr will force himself awake when these arise, oftentimes in dream form when he's at that precipice of sleep and wake, and will rise from his bedding to busy himself until he can no longer fight to stay awake..eventually laying down and dropping off to sleep like a pup being shoved over a cliff's edge..at last achieving a dark and dreamless rest.

Pre-Group History:
Marrok, though the eldest in birth order to his brothers, was physically the smallest. As young pups, size wasn't a topic of attention..but Otsoko's pride in taking after their grandparents was. Each time the grey pup vocalized his pride, brothers Lyall and Marrok would scoff, tease and taunt. However this little game would not last, as in seemingly no time at all Otsoko began to stand up for himself..physically clashing with his brothers until their parents had to pull them apart. Their taunting ended pretty quickly after that.
As the trio grew, their differences outside of how their pelts looked were becoming more apparent to them. Otsoko was easily the largest and brawniest of the three, and Marrok the smallest and thinnest. Lyall seemed to hover at a happy medium..but to Marrok there was an obvious shift in the relationship between the three. Where they seemed to have been starting to get along mere weeks after their last clash with Otsoko a new divide seemed to be forming. It was subtle at first, and Marrok wasn't completely sure his feelings were correct about it, but it didn't take long for it to become evident as Otsoko and Lyall made it a point to leave him out of their fun and games. Try as he might to join in, he was more often than not quickly rebuffed and left behind..alone. When the siblings were being watched by Leander, Otsoko and Lyall would wrestle and tumble about while Marrok watched from the shadows. At first the sadness of his rejection was clear on his face, but with each day he became more and more aloof..often choosing to turn his attentions to studying the land around them. In this way he learned the habits of the creatures, prey and rival predator alike, and the way to properly place your paws to make as little sound as possible. He became engrossed in his alone time. While his brothers wrestled, Marrok studied. He taught himself that prey did not flee if the wind was in your face, that dry tracks were old and that squirrels were jerks and would call you out if they saw you stalking around suspiciously.
This became a great boon when, one day, Leander took his sons on a hunting expedition. As Leander filled their ears with hints, tips, and tricks Marrok listened intently with eyes glittering in interest. The ashen-brown brother was quick to volunteer to go first as they caught scent of a rabbit, and the swift male seemed to catch it with little effort. Marrok beamed as Leander praised him. Pride welled in Marr's chest, only to be squashed a mere heartbeat later as Otsoko snapped when Leander chastised him for his clumsy efforts. Marrok's ears flattened, his eyes narrowing to slits, but only stood by silently as Leander quickly put Otsoko in his place. So, this was how it would be.
More time passed, summer warmed the lands and golden light beamed down on the rich and gleaming pelts of the brothers. Their mother, Otsana, had suggested the siblings cooperate in a hunt and as one could imagine Marrok was eager to showcase his skills. This was one thing he was better than them at. They had strength, sure, but he had the knowledge and experience that they did not. The trekk to the targeted hunting area was mostly silent..until Otsoko growled out an insult to Marrok's size, taunting him with 'how many Marrok's does it take to tackle a raccoon?' He was done. Done with the insults, with the rejection, with the cold shoulders. With the hate. He whirled without so much as a quick snarl and set upon Otsoko. In a matter of a blink of the eye, however, Marrok was slammed to the ground beneath his much stronger brother...his paws striking out to try to keep Otsoko's vise-like jaws from doing too much harm. And then, something interesting happened. A charcoal flash knocked Otsoko from atop of Marrok, and the brown shaded male flipped over to stand in a crouch to watch as Lyall now battled the grey one. His lips tightened as he watched them go at eachother, his eyes noting their practiced moves and skill..a skill he lacked. Another flash of a pelt, and Leander shoved himself between the quarreling brothers and effectively split them up. Marrok's tongue grazed over his own muzzle thoughtfully as the trio was led back home..a bitter taste in his mouth and set in his heart. He knew Lyall did not jump in to defend him, they had never been close so why would Lyall care...no his darker brother was more clever than that. He used the advantage to try to overtake Otsoko, to become the dominant one amongst the three. He'd been used, like otters use rocks to break clam shells Lyall had tried to use Marrok to weaken Otsoko so he could break him.
In the following days, as he allowed the Azee' to tend to his injuries from the brief fight with Otsoko, Marrok otherwise kept himself scarce as he considered his options. He knew if he continued to stay, that he would remain tortured by his siblings..especially when Otsoko returned from training with Faust. So Marrok approached the aged Naa'taanii's and informed them of his intent to depart. He explained his unhappiness and expressed his desire to forge a new life for himself. Knowing that Marrok never did quite fit in, the two leaders were not hesitant in letting him go. There was no need to keep around a wolf that could become resentful of his own home.
Marrok spent nearly a year wandering on his own before he approached the borders of the Onni pack. Though he excelled as a hunter, he had not taken particularly good care of himself when he was alone. Scrawny and on the brink of undernourishment, he knew he would succumb to death if he did not find something worth living for. Time to give it a try.

Though I prefer rp to lead my character where it will, I intend for Marrok to mature more in personality as he grows and interacts with others. I'd like to see him become more open, more caring, less selfish, and even more confident and self-loving!
Marrok departed from Howahkan mere days before Powaqa was appointed Naa'taanii.
