Description
I've been trying to push myself with my work. I've been trying to get more complex with it, hopefully this was successful experiment/next step in my work.My wife really helped me out with the top layer. She was very instrumental in helping me push this piece further than I could have gone by myself.
Oil and Acrylic on BFK Reeves Paper.

i think you do a good job of balancing the simplicity of the classic black/white lines with the green in the background. what it does is create a great sense of depth, as i cant help but feel like i'm way up in the air, staring down through the branches of the beanstalk, at the english countryside below.

I've had this sitting in my deviations center, waiting to be faved, for two weeks. Sometimes I can be lazy.
Beautiful use of color and geometric forms, my eye is pulled to the light blue circle, but the green rectangles and corners around it nicely offset the focus.

Great title, and I can see the synapse working as you mentioned in the title...also reminds me of the communion with nature... The complexity is amazing, especially as it leads ones's mind to simplicity! Uplifting work.
