It's a well known fact that the President is a fan of Conan comics, so DDP thought up this weird little parody comic, BARACK the BARBARIAN. I got the job of doing the cover, with Rachelle Rosenberg on colors. That's evil Dick Cheney-Thoth Amon in the back.Silly? Yes? Fun? Defintiely!TIM

Man I love your work and this piece is no exception , but again I think the concept is kinda pathetic.
Do good books and you don't ever need gimmicks. I think alot of people are using Barrack to get paid in comics. This is a gimmick plain and simple and it should stop and we should get back to the business of doing quality product.

That's one way to look at it. And the other is to point out that the comics industry would have been in the red for January if it weren't for the Spider-Man Obama comic, which sold more than any comic in 15 years.
Morally, I have nothing against doing a political satire drawing. And if DDP sells some comics, good for them. Besides, this is written by Larry Hama..who's to say it's not gonna be fucking amazing?

Carrier comics. Also your point about comics selling is very important here.
If you have to put Barrack on the cover of a comic to sell it, well
you better ask yourself about the quality of that comic is all I am saying.
Hell you think maybe they should put him in the Terminator movie or the Wolverine Movie maybe? All I am saying,as I said before is it's kinda pathetic.
