Description I needed to wrap my mind around on something with all the crisis we've been having. Kingdom Hearts seemed like the perfect distraction.

Who Are They?
These three are Nobodies whom have hearts. I have a small fandom where they participate in the KH storyline, but the complete story behind each character is only revealed in a spin-off fandom I made called Kingdom Hearts: Resurgence. Resurgence inscribes how each of these Nobodies came into existence, possessing a heart, and where their tale leads as they evade capture from Organization XIII, the Turks, and a mysterious entity whom controls a new breed of Heartless known as Tainteds.

Character Biographies

Kalmali (pronounced- cal-mally) is a nobody created with an artificial heart. During the time when Organization XIII searched for a method of gaining their own heart, they experimented in fabricating synthetics based on actual ones. Kalmali was the only nobody whose heart functioned like a real one and could be considered her own, despite it being fake. As such, she believed heavily in her own individuality and will, inevitably rebelling against Xemnas and was rescued by Haxe and Xelgai from imprisonment. She arrived on the Destiny Islands shortly after the world was restored, living among its people as a normal person, though she seems to have difficulty in socializing or making friends.
She has great knowledge of the darkness and the nature of the heart, as well as the circulation of the great Kingdom Hearts. There are times when the darkness she was born of creeps to the surface in her behavior, making her appear empty and stoic; however, she refuses to believe she's merely a spawn of the dark and reminds Haxe of the difference they have compared to the Heartless.

Kalmali's name means “Dispeller of Darkness” while her weapon is a rod called Jinkouu- which means “Artifical Rain”, that centers its control over water and ice. A special attack of the Jinkouu is the "Heaven's Tears", which has her summoning hail from the skies that can cause a moderate amount of damage. Her second special attack is called "Apsara", which has her culminating a mist where visibility is short-sighted which allows her to attack from any direction and can cause a considerable amount of damage. Protective magic and fire magic is best against both these attacks.

A symbolism Kalmali is shown with is bubbles (she's seen blowing soap bubbles and watching them float away).

Literal symbolism translation evident in the story- “Soap bubbles are known by their delicacy, with the light that shines through them, transparent, but visible off the surface- the same as a person- when you look at them, you can see their light regardless of how frail their physical forms are.”
Perceptional symbolism translation- “Bubble in nebula terms, specifically Superbubble, depicts a large structure created by multiple supernovae.”

Haxe (pronounced- haze, hayes) is a nobody whom stole the heart of a keyblade warrior. He was created like any other nobody, when the original fell prey to the darkness. After his birth, Haxe searched for anything to replace the empty void within him, all the while searching for more power. He challenged and defeated an unknown wielder of the keyblade, consuming his foe's heart and becoming somewhat whole. He was approached by Xemnas, whom was rounding up his own legion of nobodies. Haxe followed Xemnas to the World that Never Was only to find out that the Organization were collecting hearts. He saw them as pawns who needed him to find their own salvation, but in truth (due to the influence his new heart was having on him), he secretly felt guilty for having stolen his own heart and in turn, rejected their invitation. He managed to escape their fury by retreating into the Nexus of Worlds, rescuing two other captives along the way. As the Door to Darkness was closed and the worlds restored by the end of the first KH, the nexus cracked open and the three were separated. Haxe landed in the Dark Realm until which time, 1 year later, he broke through, arriving in Twilight Town sometime before Xemnas's destruction.
Haxe is very forward and direct, but as times seems as though his mind and “his” heart are always at odd ends. However; he does anything but display this behavior, masking it behind a veil of unsympathetic sarcasm which can make him come across as cruel. His mind resides in darkness, being of ill-temper and distrust, while his heart, being that of an honorable keyblade master, is primed with compassion and loyalty. He's a strong fighter and is ruthless in the battlefield, being more than obliging to show off how powerful he is to any whom dare challenge him.

Haxe's weapon is a broken keyblade which originally belonged to the fallen warrior he defeated. Despite being broken, it retains its full length with a ghostly apparition of the tip end and is known by the name Warrior's Pride. Haxe can utilize the keyblade to perform the special attack "Jagati", which has him moving at extreme speeds in a quadrolateral pattern that ends with a destructive piercing into the center of the area, the first ones causing moderate damage with the final strike causing considerable damage. His secondary specialty is "Nobody's Game", which allows him to expel copies of the keyblade that continuously twirl around the area striking whatever they come in contact with. Only special abilities designed to boost agility and well-timed protect magic can withstand the first attack whereas the second can be dealt with by out manuevering and slashing the copies.

A symbolism of Haxe's is the Greek majuscule Omega insignia (the symbol itself is inscribed on his elbow pads).

Literal symbolism translation evident in the story- “Omega is a sign of greatness, greatness of mind, strength, and body. It symbolizes the end, which is what a nobody is born of- when the darkness consumes a strong heart, there is nothing in the end.”
Perceptional symbolism translation- “The Omega symbol itself refers to the density of the universe”

Xelgai (pronounced- zell-guy) is a nobody whom was given a heart by the friend of his original counterpart. His creation occurred when the homeworld of his counterpart was swallowed by the darkness (Prior to the events of KH1). During the chaos, his original was lost and the original's friend, a girl named Ala, reached out to him while tumbling through the void, giving him her heart to try to save him. Unknowing that her friend had already been consumed and that Xelgai was his nobody, she still thrusted her heart into him before fading away. Xelgai fell into the Dark Realm of in-between as the world evaporated, weakened until which time he was found by Xaldin. After he recovered, he found himself in the World that Never Was where he met Kalmali. Upon conversing of the organization's nature and their goal, Xelgai became afraid of the organization and agreed to help her escape. Along the way the two became trapped, but were rescued by Haxe and broke through the Nexus of Worlds. When the nexus was cracked, Xelgai landed in Traverse Town. After some time passed, he's eventually sent to the Destiny Islands where he once again meets with Kalmali, able to find happiness with his similar friend.

Xelgai is very kind and understanding, having the heart of a friend he never really knew, but he tries to believe in the positive side of people and acts as a pacifist and peacemaker. He believes that he; himself, has a purpose to exist and hopes that the friend whom helped him become somewhat whole would be proud of his accomplishments.
Xelgai's weapon is a gauntlet that stretches slightly above the elbow on his right arm. The gauntlet resonates with energy type offenses and is a powerful shielding used to parry attacks at close range. As Xelgai is a pacifist, he seldomly draws it out unless the circumstances require it. The weapon is known as the Forever Guard and has the special attack called "Hikaru" which creates a blinding light that not only stuns opponents, but can stun those behind protective magic, which allows him time to unleash the consecutive secondary attack "Veli", which has Xelgai remaining stationary while creating wide-spreading shockwaves that deal considerable amounts of damage throughout the area- only the magic reflect can protect one from the Hikaru and evasive manuevering escape the Veli.

Xelgai has no real symbolism though he refers to himself as a “reflection of a good deed, the like of which was so selfless, that he does what he can to feel even the slightest deserving”.

God Bless and
~Enjoy

I see you did not follow the X rule rule. so what where there names before they were nobodies?

Xelgai's name was Igael. Kalmali was a dusk before she was infused with the artificial heart which made her human-like. Since she was just a dusk, when she was created she had no name and came up with the name Kalmali on her own. Haxe is pretty much like all the other characters of the Organization who's original names remain unknown.

Well the X rule pretty much is that you use the letters of your original name and the ad in an X.

Very interesting!
Haxe especially intrigues me; is the Keyblademaster whose heart he stole looking to reclaim what's his?
Will these three encounter the cannon characters of Kingdom Hearts, or just other OCs?
What is the overall goal of the three?

zankas
The Keyblademaster disappeared in a puff of darkness after Haxe defeated and took his heart. After absorbing the heart in his body, Haxe picked up the broken keyblade of his fallen opponent and destroyed the heartless that appeared in his place. Part of the story DOES have Haxe going against the Keyblademaster's nobody later.

Actually that's how I wanted to first introduce them as minor roles somewhere in the KH universe with their main stories being told in Resurgence. In Resurgence, the trio do come in contact with the stars of KH as well as other characters from the franchise we all know.

It's kinda a one thing leads into another that expands into a more connected story as it progresses with each character's individual story being revealed as a whole conspiracy takes place. If I had to say what the moral of the story would be I'd have to say it's kind of a "find your place in the universe" sort of thing. When they're first seen in their minor roles, they're on the run from the Turks.

Wow, so Haxe didn't just steal the guy's heart, he may have totally and completely destroyed him?

I'm guessing they don't be along with the main characters at first.

Ambitious!
Good luck to you!

The majority of him. His heart still exists inside Haxe and his nobody it out there as well. I don't know much about the "Unbirths" to cover that part of the story since Nomura is still working on it.

Xelgai does, but that's because he's so nice. Kalmali acts polite, but introverted and a bit weird-creepy. Haxe has a like-dislike relationship with the other two as he sees them as excess baggage, yet he still hangs out with them many times. As the story progresses, we see that Haxe actually shows some concern for their welfare. But as far as getting along with the main characters, definetly not.

Zankas so much
I appreciate it

It's also interesting from an emotional standpoint, as his heart compels him to feel guilty about stealing it, but any attempts to recompense for that action might result in him having no heart at all again. And since there's no Heartless to reclaim the heart, there might be no way to save the poor Keyblade Master, even if he tried.

Oh, good! Xelgai seems like he'd be a fun character to work with. I'm curious about Kalmali's heart, too. Was it created in the same sort of manner that Doctor Finklestein tried to create one? By combining the physical incarnations of abstract concepts into a combined reality?
Oh well, can't get along with everyone, I suppose.
