Haha! Unpredictable! You'll never be able to guess where things are going! XD But seriously, I'm aware this isn't the direction everyone thought it was going. The idea of Sly "spire jumping" between drones to hit the helicopter is actually a fantastic idea. And if this was a game, that is exactly what would happen.But my comic has gone very long - perhaps even a tad too long - and I haven't even reached the final boss fight. Sometimes things must be cut so that important things have their proper focus.

Pretty much, considering that Torus has gone mad because he first touched the green crystal since Zahn and his men have been brought to justice. Ice didn't held onto the green or red ones longer than Torus had.

After nearly gaining De Facto totalitarian control over the world if he defeated Drake Lupus, he would stand trial for going alone without leaving against Bubo's warnings and advisement, and would most likely be discharged from his position, and Shelby will most likely be stripped of his title, command, and all privileges by his rival Bubo for siding with Torus. As for Ice, I expect she'll stand trial IF she survives in one piece.

I'm trying not to spoil it. Sly and his gang would still get help from Ned and Carmelita. As for Ice, she'll be demoted from her position as Torus' right-hand woman, and have a whole month of suspension from the force, 6 months of desk duty, taken off the beat for the rest of the year, and transferred to Japan for the next 3 years.

Well, I was partly right..Sly DID get Murray to launch him at a drone, and he DID end up (sort of) seizing control of it. But using it to get to where Drake is currently lurking? That didn't occur to me.
That being said, it might have the unintended side effect of bringing Torus and Ice after him, and right into Drake's crosshairs. At the very least, from Ice's remarks, she's going to take off after Sly, leaving Carmelita and the others to find a way out. That's ONE way of drawing enemy fire off your allies.
