I got the art-itch for this after watching episode 19 of Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood. I decided I wouldn't let myself continue in the show until I'd drawn this out. (Actually I did let myself watch episode 20, but....) Now after spending a few days banging my head against this picture I feel like I need a running start to catch myself up and continue on with the series....
Anyway. Here's Mustang being.... being.... being a word my confounded Christian upbringing just won't let me say, but it's two syllables long and the first one rhymes with sad and the second one rhymes with grass.
WHAT is it with---does anybody else ever feel that way? Ever just feel totally unsatisfied with even the most clever euphemisms? Why are curse words just so fitting sometimes? Dang it. I mean darn it. Golly darn it all to heck. Cottonheaded ninny-muggins.

I never imagined that I would see a picture that portraits that scene. I always thought it would make a nice fanart and you did it very well! I love the dark light and only his "light of life" is shining, his flames that protect him but has to use against himself to stop the bleeiding.Somehow ... I don´t know why, but I really like that you see Havocs head here. If you don´t know the series you could think he´s just seriously drunk XD somehow it looks almost funny how he lays there and because he´s in the foreground he gives the picture more depths of field.
I love how the glow of the fire reflects on their faces, clothes and even on the stones!

Fullmetal makes you laugh, cry, angry, pissed, depressed, upset, happy, joyous, EVERYTHING, AND IN OOOOOOOOOOOOOONE EPISODE SOMETIMES.
That episode where Father opened the Earth's gate and you see him coming out of the gate on top of the earth then BAM, it's over. I left off with that fucking cliffhanger at 2 in the morning on a school night. IT FUCKING SUCKED. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUCKING SUCKED. All I could think of at school that day was, "OMGOMGOMGOMGWTFHAPPENEDSADHFGUOABFGUEBW." Exact thought.
