This is the first sketches for a big project of mine - namely to fully animate this dancing couple
I did these yesterday, using a video of a waltzing couple as a reference. It definitely helped me to have slight waltzing experience though so I could anticipate all this crazy foot action.These frames are basically just every time their feet hit the floor, so yes it is very choppy (and doesn't look much like the graceful waltz it was based off of) but I will be working on the in-betweens soon. (And also, technically, these shots should be more spaced out anyway, but for the sake of a fun animation I crowded them together
)It seems that I have gotten much more competent at animation because this was oddly not anywhere near as difficult as I thought it would be (and they stayed the same size throughout the whole thing! ^o^)
There will be a ballroom background (and they will have clothes!) and the video is intended to loop like this, so they will be going in wee circles forever!!!!
