Description Nimue Brown (The author of Hopeless, Maine and my beloved and partner in crime) is hand colouring the Two page spreads and chapter covers for the next graphic novel volume of Hopeless, Maine. Here is the first of them. Mellisandra (Sal's mum) as Ophelia.

How wonderfully creepy, and yet not too horrifying either, I like that subtle balance and the muddy, murky colours are a fantastic choice for a close and muggy swamp. I sort of love the tree right at the back left near the skulls
